	DESCRIPTION
	Insulator testers are portable, battery operated instruments used by field personnel to test insulators.
	APPLICATION(S)
	Insulator Testers are highly sensitive devices to test above and below ground pipeline insulators individually to determine their effectiveness.
	TECHNICAL INFORMATION
	The Radio Frequency signal is applied to one side of a pipe by one of two probes. The second probe then receives the high frequency signal. If the received signal is almost as strong as applied, the pipe is shorted.
